Transportation investment advocates, state lawmakers, public officials, and industry experts from around the country will gather in-person July 15-16 in Washington, D.C. for the 11th Annual National Workshop for State & Local Transportation Advocates. Participants will collaborate, share success stories, and discuss challenges and trends in transportation funding efforts across the country.

Sessions will include:

  • The politics of transportation funding and how to create support in state legislature;
  • Finding the right formula to capture lost revenue from electric and fuel-efficient vehicles;
  • Telling the story: communicating the value of transportation investment; and
  • Challenges to current transportation funding streams.

Participants will also receive insight into the upcoming November elections, state and local transportation funding trends, federal funding, IIJA implementation, and more.
