What’s happening: Our state transportation funding guides have been updated to reflect the recent enactment of two new measures – one in New Jersey and another in Wisconsin. The New Jersey measure signed into law on March 26, reauthorizes the state’s Trust Fund for five years and includes a new electric vehicle registration fee, making the Garden State the 36th state to enact one. Meanwhile a Wisconsin bill that includes a public electric vehicle charging station fee was signed into law March 20, making it only the eighth state to enact such a fee.
