A widely used transportation funding resource series has been updated to incorporate legislative changes enacted during the 2025 legislative session.
ARTBA’s Transportation Investment Advocacy Center (ARTBA-TIAC) has created a series of one-page guides on transportation funding methods to be shared with the public, stakeholders, and lawmakers. Advocates and public officials use these handouts as part of an education campaign to show what states are doing to raise transportation revenue and an overview of the options available.
Updates from 2025 state legislative sessions include new electric vehicle registration fees, electric vehicle charging station fees, and variable-rate state gas tax formulas.
