Transportation investment advocates, state lawmakers, public officials, and industry experts from around the country will gather in-person July 14-15 in Washington, D.C. for the 12th Annual National Workshop for State & Local Transportation Advocates. Participants will collaborate, share success stories, and discuss challenges and trends in transportation funding efforts across the country.
Sessions include:
- The politics of transportation funding and how to build support within state legislatures;
- Working with public officials and other stakeholders to prepare states and localities for private investment;
- The use of data and artificial intelligence in transportation investment decisions; and
- Challenges to current funding streams and new revenue sources states are pursuing.
Participants also gain insight into current and future federal infrastructure investment and the outlook for the transportation construction market.
