Updated: Electric Vehicle Registration Fee Guide

What’s happening: The ARTBA-TIAC state transportation funding guides are updated regularly to reflect recent changes in state transportation funding law. The Electric Vehicle Registration Fee Guide was updated on June 4 to include two new electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle registration fees – one in Maryland and another in Vermont. With the passage of these bills, 38 states now utilize an electric vehicle registration fee to ensure all drivers contribute to the construction and maintenance of the transportation infrastructure they use.
