The milestone 10th Annual National Workshop for State & Local Transportation Advocates (July 10-11 in Washington, D.C.) brings together lawmakers, public officials, industry professionals and other experts to share best practices, learn new funding strategies discover new economic research, and discuss strategies for advancing transportation infrastructure investment.

The two-day event, run by ARTBA’s Transportation Investment Advocacy Center (TIAC), will cover:

  • Partnering with state and federal officials to advance transportation investment;
  • Best practices for implementing new revenue streams;
  • Trends and techniques in transportation funding methods and campaigns;
  • Economic research on how states are leveraging their IIJA-related dollars.

Other highlights include:

  • An interactive ‘hot topics’ roundtable where attendees share experiences and get answers to their most pressing questions.
  • A Monday night reception and networking opportunity.
  • Participants may also inquire about the ARTBA TIAC Council meeting, where advocates discuss emerging issues that inform TIAC’s body of work in the year ahead.

The Workshop is held in conjunction with ARTBA’s 35th Annual Public Private Partnerships in Transportation Conference and located at the Grand Hyatt Washington.
