Transportation champions from around the country are coming together at the Hyatt Regency Washington in Washington, D.C. on July 12 to share information and exchange ideas at the 4th Annual “National Workshop for State & Local Transportation Advocates”. The event will feature 18 experts and advocates sharing research and experiences with advocating for a transportation funding increase—what works, what doesn’t work, national trends, federal involvement, and more. Sessions will explore how to build campaigns, how to reach your state legislators and gain public support, how states chose a funding method, and how advocates tackle the next challenge after a major transportation funding bill has passed.
