Last week, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) launched a new transportation improvement campaign called “Transportation Moves Wisconsin.”  This new initiative will allow state highway users to provide constructive feedback regarding the state transportation network’s needs.

Highway users will also be able to share their feedback and ideas either by submitting feedback online or by attending town hall meetings, which will be held frequently throughout the state of Wisconsin.  WisDOT Secretary Mark Gottlieb will host these town hall meetings, where transportation funding needs will be discussed.

Secretary Gottlieb explained the intent behind this new initiative:  “Transportation Moves Wisconsin is aimed at giving more visibility to the state’s multimodal transportation system and to engage people around the state in talking about how it impacts their lives…the feedback we receive will be important in the development of the next state transportation budget.”
