Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal (R) announced on June 21 $18.1 million in funding for state transportation infrastructure projects through the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank (GTIB), a program that provides grants and loans to highly competitive transportation projects that have enhanced mobility in local communities throughout Georgia. The U.S. Department of Transportation announced on June 8 $1.5 billion of Rebuilding America (INFRA) grant allocations for 26 projects. Twenty of the projects received at least $25 million and six projects were awarded at least $5 million. Read More>>
