Thirty states and DC have increased the state gas tax since 2013. Oftentimes the increased revenue is marketed to the public as a way to improve their local transportation infrastructure; however, the actual impact on the local level varies by state and locality. Three experts will share their experiences on state legislation that dedicated— or failed to dedicate— increased revenue to localities, the impact that had on the public’s perception of the legislation, and the future of the state’s overall transportation infrastructure. This webinar is a joint production between ARTBA’s “Transportation Investment Advocacy Center”™ and ARTBA’s “Transportation Officials Division.”
