Transportation investment champions from around the country are coming to the 5th Annual “National Workshop for State & Local Transportation Advocates”, July 18, at the Hyatt Regency Washington in Washington, D.C. Nearly two dozen experts and advocates are scheduled to share their research and experiences with advocating for transportation funding increases—what works, what doesn’t work, national trends, and federal involvement.

Sessions will explore how to build campaigns, how to reach your state legislators and gain public support, how states chose a funding method, and how advocates tackle the next challenge after a major transportation funding bill has passed.

The Workshop is being held in conjunction with ARTBA’s 30th annual “Public-Private Partnerships in Transportation Conference.”
