The Minnesota Department of Transportation estimated the state will require an additional $18 billion over the next 20 years in order to meet the state highway system’s needs, according to a January 2017 “State Highway Investment Plan” update. Read More>>

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s budget proposal includes decreasing funding by $447.4 million to the state highway system, increasing maintenance by $70 million, and raising local funding by $65 million.
